Kula No Nā Po‘e Hawai‘i Kupuna Caregiver Community Network II Support
HACBED has partnered with Kula No Nā Poʻe Hawaiʻi (KULA), a Native Hawaiian beneficiary serving organization based out of Papakōlea Community Center in the Papakōlea Hawaiian Homestead Region on Oʻahu to support the Papakōlea Kūpuna Community Care Network (KCCN) II Project. KCCN II is a three-year project supported by the Administration for Native Americans that will support KULA’s goals to achieve long-term health equity and to help kūpuna safely age in place. KCCN II is a continuation of the initial KCCN project, which served kūpuna program participants through programmatic and health care services. HACBED will support KCCN II for the next three years through the following activities:
- Planning, convening, and facilitation assistance of Community Advisory Groups.
- Project management through regular check-ins with the KULA team.
- Compilation, analysis, and presentation of survey data with supplemental research as needed.
- Project evaluation and creation of reports to fulfill grant requirements.
